Article 4: Declaration of fundamental truths

The Holy Bible is our totally sufficient guide for our faith and beliefs, we accept the truths declared therein to be the word of God which contain all of our principle biblical doctrines which we work to fullfill.

Section 1a: The Holy Scriptures

The bible is the inspired word of God, His revelation of himself to mankind, the infallible rule for christian conduct, far superior to our conscience and reasoning, and yet not contrary to it.
(2nd Timothy 3:16-17; 1st Peter 2:2)

Section 2a: The one true God

The one true Lord has revealed himself to us as eternal and self sufficient, the great "I AM", manifesting himself as God the Father, God the Son, And God the Holy Spirit.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Mat. 12:29; Mathew 28:19; Luke. 3:22 )

Section 3: The Godhead,

a) Defining terminology;
We relate the words "trinity" and "persons" with the our Lord., and although they do not apear in the Holy Bible, they are in harmony with the scriptures.
(Mathew 28:19; 1st John 1:3-4 )

b) Distinction of Persons within

the trinity
Jesus reffered to the three persons of the trinity distinctly, in specific order and terms, as Father Son and Holy Spirit, allthough the trinity in itself is inscrutable and incomprehensible to our limited understanding, and as such remains unexplained in the scriptures
(Luke 1:35; 1a Corinthians 1:24; Mathew 11:25-27 )

c) Identity and order within

the Diety or Godhead;
The Father, The Son, And the Holy Spirit, never appear identical with respect to the Godhead, neither do they apear opposed to each other in respect to cooperation.
Therefore none of the three persons of the trinity exist of their own, independent from the others, They are one.

(John 5:17; John 5:30-37; John 8:17-18 )

d) The title: "Lord Jesus Christ"

The title "Lord Jesus" is proper, and is never used in refference to God the Father, or the Holy Spirit. The tile belongs solely to Him, (Jesus Christ the Son of God).
(Romans 1:1,3,7; 2nd John 3)

e) The Lord Jesus Christ,

"God with us"

Our Lord Jesus Christ, with regards to His eternal and divine nature, is the sole son of the Father, but in regards to His human nature, is the legitimate "Son of Man",..and is thus recognized as both God and man, He is Emmanuel,..."God with us"

(Mathew 1:23; 1st John 4:2,10,14; Revelation 1:13-17).

f) It is therefore a transgresion of the doctrine of Christ to say that Jesus derived His title of "Son of God" by virtue of encarnation or by his relationship with the work of redemption. He simply is, allways was, and forever shall be the Son of God.
(2a Juan 9; Juan 1:1,2,14; Juan 8:57; 1a Juan 2:22,23; 1a Juan 4:1-5; Hebreos 12:2)

g) Equal honor and glory to the Father and the Son

In as much as the Father has given complete power of judgement to the Son, It is not only the duty of all inhabitants of Heaven and Earth to bow their knees before Him and worship Him, It is also our indescribable joy in the spirit to give honor and glory to the Lord Jesus in the same manner that we give honor and praise to the father:
(John 5:22,23; 1st Peter 1:8; Philipians 2:8-10; Revelation 4:8-11; Revelation 5:6-14; Revelation 7:9,10;)

Section 4: The fall and redemption of Mankind

Mankind was was created perfect and good, as God said "let us make man in our our own image, according to our likeness". But mankind fell from that perfect state by their voluntary transgression of the commandment of God. The only hope for mankind rests in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
(Genesis 1:26; Romans 5:12-21)

Section 5: The salvation of man

a) Conditions of salvation

The grace of God by which mankind finds redemption is manifested through the proclamation of repentance to God and placing our faith in Jesus Christ.

Mankind is saved through the washing and renovating work of God's Holy Spirit. Being justified through faith, we become coinheritors with Christ. On this we base our hope for eternal life..
(Romans 10:13-15; Luke 24:47; Titus 3:5-7)

b) Evidence of salvation

The internal evidence to the believer is the direct testimony of the Holy Spirit.
(Romans 8:16)

The external evidence to all other people, is living a just and holy life.
Seccion 6: The baptism in water

The ordinance regarding the baptism by imersion in water, should be observed as written in the Holy Scriptures by all who have truelly experienced repentance and have believed in their hearts in the Lord Jesus.

Doing this, they wash their bodies in pure water as an external symbol of cleansing, their hearts having been washed by the blood of christ which was shed on the cross, in an internal cleansing of the soul.

In this manner a public testimony is made that we have "died with Christ" to our sins and together we are raised up to a new life.
(Mathew 28:19; Acts 10:47,48; Romans 6:4; Hebrews 10:22)
Section 7: The Lord's supper

Section 8: The Father's promise

Every believer is entitled to and should fervently seek out the gift we have been promised, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, as per the command of Christ himself.

This was the general experience of what we call today "the primitive church." By this experience we are invested with power to live in Christ and to carry out our service to God.
(Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1st Corinthians 12:1-31)

This experience is distinct and takes place after the experience of rebirth in Christ.
(Acts 2:44-46; Acts 11:14,16; Acts 15:7-9)

Section 9: Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit

The evidence of the baptism in the Holy Sirit in all believers is the sign of speaking in other tongues, as the Holy Spirit gives utterance.
(Acts 2:4)

Speaking in tongues, in this occasion is essentially the same manifestation of the spirit as the gift of tongues.
(1st Corinthians 12:4-10, 38)

But differs in purpose and use. Section 10: Living in Sanctification

The Holy Scriptures present to us a view of holiness without which noone can see God.

By the power of the Holy Spirit we are equiped to obey the mandate of "be holy, as I am holy".

A holy and sanctified life is God's desire for every believer and we should decidedly seek out this life in obedience to the word of God.
(Hebrews 12:14; 1st Peter 1:15,16; 1st Thes.5:23,24; 1st John2:26)

Section 11: The Church

The Church is the body of Christ on this earth, the dwelling place of God in the spirit, and is divinely chosen to complete the great comission of preaching the gospel.

Every beleiver who has been born again, is an integral part of the church, whose names are written in God's book of life.
(Ephesians 1:22,23; Ephesians 2:22)

Section 12: Ministry and Evangelism
Christ our Lord has called us to a divinely ordained ministry,which has a twofold purpose;

(Mark 16:15-20; Ephesians 4:11-13)

Section 13: Divine Healing

Healing from all desease has been provided for us in the expiatory sacrifice of christ. Healing is the priviledge of every believer.
(Mathew 8:16,17; Mark 16:17,18; James 5 :14,15)

Section 14: Our blessed hope

The resurrection of those who sleep in Christ, and their translation together with those who live and remain until the coming of our Lord, is the imminent and blessed hope of the church.
(Romans 8:23; 1st Thess.4:16,17; 1st Corinthians 15:51,52)

Section 15: The milenial reign of Christ

The revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ from heaven, the salvation of the nation of Israel and the milenial reign of Christ on this Earth, are scriptural promises and this worlds only hope.
(2nd Thess.1:7; Revelation 19:11-14; Romans 11:26,27; Revelation 20:1)

Section 16: The Lake of Fire

The Devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, as well as all those whose names are not written in the Book of life, shall be cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death.
(Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:10-15)

Section 17: A new Heaven and a new Earth

We, according to the promises of Christ, await a new Heaven and a new Earth, in which justice dwells.
(1st Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:22)
