Why a political party?
NCC campaign poster: Bishop Paneer Selvam
For years the idolatrous religious environment in India has been hostile towards
christianity, and christians in general. Those who profess to be christians
are often thought of as second class citizens.
Christianity is thought to be the religion of the lower casts of society, and
it has become apparent that in order to thrive and press forward in the social,
educational, and spiritual reforms that the christian church has begun, some form
of representation in the government will be required. The christian voice must be
heard in India, and it must have a say in what laws are enacted as well as what
protection christians in India have from those who would seek their harm or demise.
NCC is the first christian political party seeking to unite christian ministers
under one banner for the purpose of helping people and the work of Christ in India
